The Disneyland Resort announced a surprising and what may be a controversial change to their Halloween Time decor for Main Street U.S.A. this Halloween Time.  They are bringing back the Candy Corn Acres that used to adorn Disney CA Adventure in lieu of the giant Mickey Pumpkin.

When questioned, a Disneyland spokeswoman said, “The pumpkins were beginning to not test well with our guests, and people missed the candy corn.”  Candy Corn Acres used to be part of Disney CA Adventure before the $1 billion upgrade which removed the Sunshine Plaza.  Heimlich will make his return to the giant candy corn as well.  Instead of Disney characters dressing in costumes, they will be adorned in fall attire.

What do you think?  Do you like this idea or should the Disneyland Resort stick with the Mickey pumpkin?  We want to know what you think in our poll below.
