Disney California Adventure has postponed the sold-out Villains Nite scheduled for late April and plans to reschedule the after-hours event for an as-yet-unannounced date after the coronavirus closure of the Anaheim theme park.
“We are working on scheduling options and hope to have more to share soon,” according to the Disneyland website.
The separate-admission Villains Nite event scheduled for April 30th at Disney California Adventure was expected to feature a cabaret-style musical revue with Disney’s most famous bad guys and gals.
Current Villains Nite ticket holders are “automatically eligible” for the rescheduled event, according to the Disneyland website. Villains Nite ticket holders can call 714-781-4636 for more information and to discuss their options, including refunds.
Villains Nite was the fourth of five Disneyland After Dark events planned for Disneyland and Disney California Adventure in 2020. Previous After Dark events included 80’s Nite (Jan. 29) and Sweethearts’ Nite (Feb. 12 and 13) at Disneyland along with Pixar Nite (March 5) at Disney California Adventure. The sold-out Star Wars Nite is scheduled for Aug. 27 in the Galaxy’s Edge themed land at Disneyland and has not been scheduled at this time.
Each of the $109.00 separate-admission Disneyland After Dark events feature character meet-and-greets and after-hours access to attractions along with themed decor, food and merchandise. The events begin at 5 or 6 p.m. and run until midnight or 1 a.m.
