Hours of Operation
The Disneyland Resort Kennel Club opens 30 minutes prior to the earliest park opening time and typically closes 30 minutes after the latest park closing time. On occasion, closing times may vary depending on occupancy. For more information, please check our park hours or call (714) 781-7662.
Pricing
The price for boarding at the Disneyland Resort Kennel Club is $20 per pet, per day. Families with multiple dogs may be offered the option to board compatible pets together in a single kennel. However, the $20 per pet, per day fee will still apply to each individual pet.
Availability
Kennels are available for your pets on a first-come, first-serve basis. Reservations will not be accepted. All pets will be boarded in kennels in relation to their size and weight, which is determined by the kennel attendants on duty at the time. Accommodations for larger pets is extremely limited. Please feel free to bring along your own blankets, bowls and toys to help make your pet’s stay even more comfortable.
Requirements for Cats and Dogs
The Disneyland Resort Kennel Club requires that all dogs and cats be over 4 months of age, unless they are fully vaccinated with the required immunizations.For dogs, Guests must show proof of the following vaccinations:
- Rabies
- Distemper
- Hepatitis
- Parvovirus
- Parainfluenza
- Bordetella
For cats, Guests must show proof of the following vaccinations:
- Rabies
- Panleukopenia
- Rhinotracheitis’
- Calicivirus
Dogs and cats without proper proof of the above vaccinations will not be allowed. The Disneyland Resort Kennel Club does not accept letters of exception or titer tests as proof of vaccination.
Proof of Vaccination for Cats and Dogs
Guests are required to provide up-to-date vaccination paperwork from a veterinarian to confirm that pets are current with required vaccinations.This paperwork must include:
- The name, address and telephone number of the pet owner
- A description of the pet that includes breed, color, age and sex
- The date of immunization for each vaccination required
- The type or description of each vaccination required
- The name, address and phone number of the veterinarian who administered each vaccination
Other Animals Accepted for Boarding
You can also choose to board birds, rabbits, some rodents and many other animals legal to own as pets in the state of California. However, each of these pets must be contained within their own individual carriers. Guests are not required to show any records to board animals of this variety.
Animals Not Accepted for Boarding
Any animal that is illegal to own as a pet in the state of California will not be accepted. In addition, the Disneyland Resort Kennel Club does not board ferrets and venomous, exotic or wild animals.
Handling Pets
Attendants at the Disneyland Resort Kennel Club are not allowed to handle or feed animals. Owners are required to handle their own pets to move them in and out of the kennels, and they are advised to keep their pets on a leash of no more than 6 feet when out in public spaces. It is recommended that Guests visit the kennel a minimum of every 4 hours to walk their pets and ensure they are comfortable. For your convenience, an exercise yard is available adjacent to the kennel. Also, please be aware that attendants are unable to feed pets. Guests are welcome to leave food with their pets or feed them when they return. A water dish will be provided and attendants will monitor the water level. If they are unable to reach the water dish, attendants will call to inform you.
Transportation
All pets allowed at the Disneyland Resort Kennel Club are welcome to ride on the Disneyland Resort tram from the Mickey & Friends Parking Structure.
Duration
Pets must be picked up at the end of the day, as there are no facilities at the Disneyland Resort for overnight accommodations. Also, the Hotels of the Disneyland Resort do not allow pets!
