The following attractions, restaurants, and/or shows are scheduled for refurbishment within the next six weeks.  Please note these closures are always subject to change and they may or may not be closed during your visit.  In addition, attractions not listed here may be closed when you arrive.  

The Disneyland Resort Refurbishment Calendar has become less specific recently and instead of having an end date for refurbishments, they indicate TBD, or to be determined.  We will update this page as dates are released.

Sleeping Beauty Castle & Sleeping Beauty Castle Walkthrough From January 17, 2019 through spring 2019, Sleeping Beauty Castle Walkthrough will be closed for refurbishment. From January 7 through spring, the exterior of Sleeping Beauty Castle will also undergo refurbishment.

  • D-Ticket pool, Monorail pool and Waterslides, and Mickey and Minnie spas
    Between January 7, 2019 and March 2019, the D-Ticket pool, Monorail pool and Waterslides, and Mickey and Minnie spas will be unavailable for Guest use. Guests are invited to enjoy the E-Ticket pool. Guests looking to experience a waterslide will have access to the California Streamin’ slide at Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel. Guests may see and hear construction work in various areas. To minimize any disruptions, work will be limited to the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily.
    Jan. 7, 2019 – Mar. 2019
    Monorail pool and Waterslides
    The Monorail pool and Waterslides will be unavailable for Guest use. During this timeframe, Guests are invited to enjoy the E-Ticket pool, the D-Ticket pool and the Mickey and Minnie spas. Please note that work in the pool area will still be ongoing near the D-Ticket pool and Mickey and Minnie spas. Guests looking to experience a waterslide will have access to the California Streamin’ slide at Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel. Guests may see and hear construction work in various areas. To minimize any disruptions, work will be limited to the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily.

  1. Fantasyland Theatre is not closed as stated above – It has a new show called Mickey and the Magical Map.

  2. Thanks for the list. (FYI: Flik’s Flyers is actually at Disney California Adventure, not at Disneyland Park…as noted in your list.)

      There is always a slight chance of an early opening, but they typically are not announced. If you are visiting, I would go by to see if they did a soft opening.

  3. Thanks for putting all this info up! Have you heard anything about the show at The Golden Horseshoe closing? I believe its current name is The Laughing Stock Co. I heard a rumor that it was gone for good as of July 2014, but the Disneyland website hasn’t posted anything about it.
