  1. Is the first Friday of Halloween going to be crazy busy it’s September 12th this year all the crowd calendars say it’s going to be okay that day a 4-5 out of ten but I hear some people saying it’s brings huge crowds I’m traveling with toddlers and want to avoid crowds as possible we have to go on a weekend also;(

    • Hi Jess,

I apologize for the delay in this response. The first Friday of Halloween (September 12th) should be a good day to visit (50% capacity). The crowds will get busier in the evening as locals get off work and out of school. However, the family should have a great time!!!

      Thanks,

    • Hi Cmrrr04,

The expected crowd forecast for October 21 – 25 is 30% capacity on October 21 – 23, 40% on October 24, and 60% on October 25th. October 22nd and October 24th are Mickey’s Halloween Party so Disneyland Park will close earlier then normal.

  2. (oops, my last post had incorrect dates). This is a great looking site and calender Kevin! Is there any way to look at past months so I can gauge what it might will be like in January 2015 (Jan 5th-9th)? interested in crowd capacity but also what rides are routinely closed that week – do they begin refurbishments right after Christmas? Thanks a bunch!

    • Hi Matt,

Sorry for the delay in our response. The expected crowd forecast for January 5th – 9th is as follows:

      January 9th = 60%

Holiday Time ends January 6th and all Holiday activities will close on the 7th including Haunted Mansion Holiday usually. Typically, it’s a small world holiday will remain open for a couple more weeks. You can expect additional ride closures as the off season begins as well.

  4. Hi, I was looking for Info about each park for next year. Can I go back and find last year the 3 or 4 days after Memorial day? I am hoping it won’t be to crowded. Or the 1st week of June?

    • Hi Cynthia,

The 2015 crowd forecast for the days prior to Memorial Day (May 22 – 25, 2015) is expected to be around 80% capacity.

This year, it was closer to 100% on Friday for the 24-Hour Event and 70% for Saturday before 80% on Monday

In 2013, they also had a 24-Hour event which made Friday 100% and Saturday and Sunday at 90%

In 2012, it was 90% capacity for the weekend.

Typically, it is a busy weekend for the Resort. If you can choose a different time period to visit, you would have less crowds. If you have any other questions,, need help with travel planning or bookings, please feel free to contact us.
